ARTIST STATEMENT

Indian born installation artist Hormuz Minina gives an introspective cultural critique. His self taught artistry is rooted in a freewheeling experiment that evolves from fluxus like experimentation. His explore the inconsistencies of living as a bi-cultural in America and confront the viewer’s perception of contemporary life.

Hormuz’s installations have previously been seen at the Atlanta Contemporary Center, eyedrum, Mobile Museum of Art, and in the Shedspace installation series.
